BABIES AND CHILDREN
WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Typical children learn through random movement, accidentally discovering how to move, roll over, and relate to the environment.  Through repetition they are creating their mind-maps, their neurological connections and their self-image.

When there is interference or damage in the nervous system, children with special needs have limited or no access to these random movements. As a result, their brain and skeletal-muscular system are restricted from developing fully.

By facilitating their movement, and moving them into and out of positions based on the neuro-motor development, we communicate directly with the child’s nervous system.

Feeding proprioceptive, kinaesthetic, sensorial experiences to the brain, it can thrive with this information, creating new neurological connections and developing abilities and functions in a progressive way.
